Preparations are well underway for the IBMS Congress 2025, the largest Biomedical Science event in the UK, which offers a range of learning and development opportunities from early-career professionals to experienced scientists.
2025 is a special year as NWLP will have its own exhibition stand at the event for the first time, offering a chance to showcase our work and connect with the wider Biomedical Science community.
We are excited to announce our speakers and chairs for this year:
Janki Kavi, Training and Development Manager
Janki will be speaking on the Support Staff Programme, with her title: ‘Support staff are a key part of a training team’. She is speaking on 23 September at 2pm.
Manfred Almeida, Microbiology Laboratory Manager
Manfred will be speaking on the Student Programme, with his title: ‘You are about to graduate – now what? Job application tips and tricks’. He is speaking on 23 September at 2:10pm.
Angela Jean-Francois, Director of Operations
Angela will be speaking on the Laboratory Management Programme, with her title: ‘Managing a major technology failure to ensure service continuity’. She is speaking on 24 September at 2pm.
Saghar Missaghian-Cully, Managing Director
Saghar will be speaking on the Laboratory Management Programme, with her title: ‘Adapting successfully to managers with different management styles’. She is speaking on 24 September at 3pm.
Mehwish Khalid, Pathology Practice Educator
Mehwish will be speaking on the Laboratory Management Programme, with her title: ‘Pathology training re-imagined: Harnessing automation for greater productivity’. She is speaking on 24 September at 4:30pm.
Helen Hobson, Associate Director of Quality and Governance
Helen is chairing the Quality Management Programme on 25 September at 2pm.
