Dr Panagiotis Pantelidis

Dr Panagiotis (Panos) Pantelidis is General Manager for the Division of Infection, Immunity and Cellular Diagnostic Sciences (IICDS) at North West London Pathology, hosted by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He oversees a wide-ranging portfolio of services including Infection and Immunity diagnostics (Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, and Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics) and Cellular Pathology diagnostics (Histopathology, Diagnostic Cytology, Electron Microscopy, and the Specialist Integrated Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service covering immunophenotyping, cytogenetics and molecular diagnostics). His responsibilities span service delivery, workforce planning and long-term strategic development.

Panos holds a PhD in chronic lung inflammation and has authored and co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications across multiple fields. He has contributed to advancing diagnostic sciences through both laboratory leadership and academic collaboration, bridging research with service delivery.

He is currently leading major transformation projects to ensure NWLP remains at the forefront of diagnostic services and well positioned to meet increasing demand.
