β2-glycoprotein 1 is a co-factor for anticardiolipin antibodies. Anti-β2-glycoprotein antibodies (IgG and IgM) are seen in antiphospholipid syndrome and can be related to the development of arterial and venous thromboses, venous thromboembolism, thrombocytopenia and fetal loss. |

Diagnosis and monitoring of: vascular thrombosis and/or recurrent fetal loss thrombocytopenia heart valve disease nephropathy neurological disease. |
