Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant and is indicated in the management of depressive illness and treating nocturnal enuresis in children. Side-effects include: arrhythmias and heart block, anxiety, dizziness, agitation, confusion, sleep disturbances, irritability and paraesthesia. |
