On 26th November, Saghar Missaghian-Cully, our Managing Director, and Angela Jean-François, our Director of Operations, both won awards at the Ethnic Minorities in Leadership 2024 Awards Ceremony!

At some point in your life, you might notice something different about your skin, such as a difference in texture, colour, or maybe a growth or a lump. This can be worrying. This is called a skin lesion. To help with diagnosis, your doctor may take a biopsy, where a small sample is removed for testing.

North West London Pathology recently won the ‘Major project go live’ award at the 2024 Health Tech Awards! This award recognises our six-year long network transformation project, replacing multiple legacy lab management systems with a single solution.

In October, Saghar Missaghian-Cully gave a speech at the Houses of Parliament with British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA) as part of their parliamentary reception – Diagnostics: The State of the Nation.

In October, NWLP hosted an exclusive GP Study Event, specially designed for GPs within the NWLP catchment area at Charing Cross Hospital. The event provided a unique opportunity for our GP network to come together and gain valuable insights from leading industry professionals and consultant clinicians at NWLP.

In September, our Managing Director, Saghar, chaired the Convenzis NHS Pathology South Conference. The event took a closer look at the current state of play across the UK pathology community and provided a platform for NHS pathology managers and leaders to share best practices and insights from across the UK.
