These antibodies are found in a sub-group of scleroderma patients with the limited cutaneous form of the disease or CREST syndrome (calcinosis, Raynaud's phenomenon, oesophageal dysfunction, sclerodactyly and telangiectasia). It is also seen in patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (8-31 %). |
