HLA typing -PCR-SSO (low/medium resolution)
|Category||Immunology >> Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics|
HLA typing at medium/low resolution typing for HLA-DQA1, -DQB1, -DRB345 is performed using PCR-SSO. This technique is primarily used for the HLA typing of solid organ patients and donors.
HLA typing at HLA-DQA1, -DQB1, -DRB345 alongside high resolution NGS HLA typing allows for a full HLA typing result to be achieved for solid organ patients and donors. HLA typing alongside HLA antibody detection techniques allows full HLA compatibility to be determined for solid organ patients and their prospective donors.
An HLA tissue typing report will be provided.
