Myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG) autoantibodies are seen in some patients with peripheral neuropathy and frequently occur with IgM paraproteinaemia (Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinaemia, monoclonal gammopathy of uncertain significance (MGUS)).

Clinical Indications

Adult onset neuropathy (distal, symmetrical) gait disorder, tremor

Negative <1000 BTU (Bulhmann titre units)
