Once the presence of a clinically significant red cell antibody has been detected with the screening stage, further tests are required to determine the specificity of the antibody. |

Reference range | Negative (i.e. no circulating antibodies). |

Sample volume | 4 mL for paediatrics 6 mL for adults |
