Vigabatrin has become widely used as an anticonvulsant with particular benefits in controlling partial seizures and those refractory to other therapies.

Not currently performed in house; this is a referred test.
There are a few side effects reported with vigabatrin (drowsiness, dizziness and ataxia), which seem to be more related to dose than to plasma concentration.
