The first edition of the Healthcare Science Leadership journal was published in April 2021 and features an article written by Arthi Anand, Consultant Clinical Scientist in Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics, and Black, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Ambassador. In her article, ‘Diversity barriers to leadership in healthcare science: You can’t be what you can’t see’, she describes the barriers to leadership diversity and suggests some solutions.
The purpose of the Journal is to encourage an interest in leadership amongst those in healthcare science by showcasing examples of how leadership in healthcare science can influence and support excellent patient care
