The Infection and Immunity laboratory at Charing Cross Hospital featured on BBC 1 News at 6pm and 10pm in March as one of the NHS labs that would be processing samples.
In March the government announced that in addition to Public Health England testing samples for COVID-19, NHS labs were asked to start offering in house testing for COVID-19.
