What’s a Biopsy?

At some point in your life, you might notice something different about your skin, such as a difference in texture, colour, or maybe a growth or a lump. This can be worrying. This is called a skin lesion. To help with diagnosis, your doctor may take a biopsy, where a small sample is removed for testing.
